The recall affects Honda Jazz or Honda Fit models built in Brazil, China, India, Japan, Malaysia and Thailand with approximately 646,000 car sales. In the United Kingdom alone, more than 171,300 Honda Jazz compact cars will be recalled as a protocol although no window malfunction reports were received in the place. This January 2010 Honda recall of Honda Fit or Jazz is to promote safety of both drivers and passengers of this car model. It was conducted as the company received reports of window switch malfunctions.
